Working with teens in their world of “all about me” as they tweet, check-in and follow one another through a virtual existence reminds me of how much has changed in the world for them, but truly how much of being a teenager remains the same. As an art director in the fashion industry, it’s paramount for me to “check in” to the current dialect, and create a fast-moving and sensory experience for them to relate. It’s always a good time when we LOL, ROTF and have fun. They want to be seen and heard in whatever language they speak. Under my direction, we translate this perfectly.
